New Patients at Outback Chiropractic Clinic

Most people are curious as to what takes place at Outback Chiropractic Clinic, even before they walk through the door for the first time. This is understandable, particularly if you’ve never visited a chiropractor before. We’ve shared a bit about what you can expect when you visit us.

Your First Visit

Once you’ve been welcomed to the office, you’ll be given some simple forms to fill out concerning basic health and contact information. You’ll then be escorted to a private room to meet with Dr. Gleeson.

Consultation

Dr. Gleeson will sit with you and learn about your health concerns. Dr. Gleeson will be interested in how your problem started, what the pain feels like and what you’ve found that gives you the most relief.

Examination

Once Dr. Gleeson fully understands your concerns, he will perform a series of chiropractic, orthopedic, range of motion and nerve tests. These non-invasive tests will help us find the source of your problem, and whether or not you have a condition that we can help.

If Dr. Gleeson finds that he can’t help you, he will promptly refer you to the appropriate health care professional.

Report of Findings

Next, Dr. Gleeson will review the results of his testing with you and discuss what he believes can be done to correct your problem and get you out of pain. You’re encouraged to ask any questions that you might have at this time. Once all of your questions have been answered and you’re ready to start care, your first treatment will be performed.

The average first visit takes approximately 30 – 40 minutes.

Return Visits

On a typical visit you’ll be escorted to a treatment room and meet with Dr. Gleeson. At this time your progress will be monitored, any questions will be answered and treatment will then be delivered. Afterward at the front desk, another appointment will be made if necessary and payment will be processed.

Will I Need Treatment Forever?

Absolutely not! It’s true that many patients choose to continue their chiropractic care on some type of periodic basis simply because they enjoy feeling good. Others choose to see us from time to time for episodes of neck pain or back pain.
